Carsten Lohff
Harpsichordist,
studied his instrument and musicology at the Musikhochschule of
Hambourg, his birth town. He carried on his musical studies
with
Johann Sonnleitner in Zurich, Bob van Asperen in La Haye and Gustav
Leonhardt in Amsterdam.
He has teached at the Musikhochschule of
Hambourg and at the Meistersinger-Konservatorium of Nuremberg. He is
currently harpsichord professor at the Hochschule für Künste of Bremen.
Parallel to this teaching activity he is also member of the Ensemble
Cantus Cölln, with whom he has achieved several recordings and played
with numerous chamber music orchestras.
